There are different types of contact lenses :

- Soft lenses

- Rigid lenses

- Progressive lenses

- Toric lenses

- Multifocal lenses

Soft lenses

Soft contact lenses sold by Dencott are the most common, made of silicone to allow the eye to oxygenate more easily. Easy to use and handle, they are not recommended if you suffer from dry eyes. We can distinguish three types of soft lenses: daily, fortnightly and monthly.

Rigid lenses

The hard lenses sold by Dencott have better visual quality. They are recommended for people suffering from high astigmatism or high myopia. Rigid lenses are gas permeable and allow oxygenation of the eye while respecting the cornea. The adaptation is easier with the new materials, the tears circulate better between the lens and the eye. Excellent alternative for patients tolerating other types of contact lenses. Available in annual lenses.

Progressive lenses

The progressive contact lenses sold by Dencott are designed to simultaneously correct near and far vision for various ametropia such as Myopia, Presbyopia and Hypertrophy. The benefits are harmony and comfort. Available in annual lenses.

Toric lenses

Toric contact lenses sold by Dencott are flexible or rigid and correct two types of visual defects. They are recommended for patients with impaired vision for astigmatism and myopia or astigmatism and hyperopia. The vision remains stable under all circumstances. Available in annual lenses.

Multifocal lenses

Multifocal contact lenses sold by Dencott are designed to correct Presbyopia to provide clear vision at all viewing distances, both far and near. They are made up of three zones, a distance correction zone, an intermediate zone for mid-distance and a near correction zone. You can completely replace your progressive glasses.

Nearsighted, Hyperopic or Astigmatic people can be fitted with contact lenses as standard equipment or made to measure if necessary.
