Therapeutic indications :
- Irregular shapes of the cornea or eyeball that prevent a lens from being stable.
- Very advanced keratoconus no longer allowing the placement of a lens when the transplant cannot be considered.
- Ametropia exceeding 20 diopters.
- Globe atrophied following trauma.
- Aniridia or iridectomy linked or not to trauma.
- Eye microphthalma.
- Sportsmen practicing a very violent sport and in particular all water sports.
Characteristics :
- PMMA
- from +30 to -30
- Perforation of the seral glass.
- No risk of edema.
